Hi Jenny, What a tumultuous journey life throws us at times, and you certainly have been in the thick of it. I seemed to have missed several of these, however, catching up with your dad had me GULP. Thank you for sharing, Jenny. The sundowner part resonates with me when my mom had dementia after a massive stroke. I grew to hate late afternoons, because I knew what we were in store for in the nights. I would just hold my mom's hand to comfort her, or do her nails and play soothing sounds.
